Raising Kids Who Can Cope

We all want to raise kids who are emotionally and socially intelligent and are able to recover from disappointment to grow stronger every day into adulthood. Raising Kids Who Can Cope is a series developed to build skills, knowledge and awareness in adults who play a role in young people’s lives.

Audio segments originally aired on WWIS (99.7FM) Radio and articles ran in the Banner Journal and Jackson County Chronicle throughout 2014 and into 2015. Many thanks to our media partners as well as the community volunteers who read the radio spots – Tom Epps, Char Onstad, and Lori Dolesy.

Comments from Community Parents:

“These radio spots are so timely. We are going through this right with the teenagers in our house.”

“After hearing several radio announcements, I finally went to the website. It was helpful to be able to read and re-read the information. Short and to the point.”
